Trusted Care For 20 Years
Exceeding Expectations
Experienced clinicians working together to support patients and families, delivering coordinated care.
Palliative Care is health care focused on relieving symptoms and preventing the suffering of patients, regardless of the prognosis. It provides supportive care to the patient and their family. Supportive care is appropriate for patients in all disease stages, including those undergoing treatment for curable illnesses and those living with chronic diseases such as heart disease, lung disease and diabetes mellitus.
The goal is to improve quality of life for both the patient and the family by:
- Providing relief from pain, shortness of breath, nausea and other distressing symptoms
- Offering a support system to help patients live as actively as possible
- Having more control over your care by improving your understanding of your choices for treatment
Palliative Care is provided in partnership with doctors, patient, family and specialists working to provide an extra layer of support for you and your family. The team becomes a partner with you, your family, and your other doctors. They support you and your family by helping you understand your treatment options and goals.
